- LOGIS GGOV Application Presentation
LOGIS GIS has completed a public-facing, map-centric, web application for the presentation
of municipal government information. This product, called gGov, will be offered for implementation by our GIS member cities beginning
the first week of March. The development process, technologies, and infrastructure
were very challenging but ultimately resulted in a product that is cutting edge
server and service GIS.
Presentation Notes:
- Ability to present municipal GIS data in a form very similar to common web map applications
such as Map Quest and Google Maps.
- Citizens can view property related data as well as any other mappable data that
the municipalities would like to present.
- The application is very customizable for each municipality that would like to make
use of it.
- Relationships between related map features can be presented to users who may not
be familiar with more advanced GIS data relationship methods
